Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information.

Our Practice

Caramel Magazine does not sell personal information for monetary value, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. If that ever changes, for example if we add advertising partners that use tracking for targeted ads, we will update this page and provide a way to opt out before doing so.

Some pages on the Site embed content from third parties (such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok posts). Those platforms may collect information directly through their embeds according to their own privacy policies, which are outside our control. We encourage you to review the privacy settings and policies of any third-party platform you use.

Submitting a Request

Even though we don’t currently sell or share personal information, you’re welcome to submit a request confirming your preference, asking what information we hold about you, or asking us to delete it. To do so, email info@caramelmagazine.com with the subject line “Privacy Request,” and let us know what you’d like us to do. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing certain requests, and we will respond within the timeframe required by law.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof that you’ve authorized the agent to act for you and may still ask you to verify your own identity directly with us.

No Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights, including by denying you access to the Site or the newsletter.
